Over the last 20 years there has been a realisation that the earth has been over burdened by the rate of development resulting in degradation of the environment in which we live. It is widely acknowledged that to continue improving quality of life yet simultaneously considering the wider and longer term implications then development has to become sustainable.
The process by which we move towards a sustainable society is called sustainable development.
Moving towards a sustainable society is not going to happen overnight. There are wide ranging changes over short, medium and long term timescales which need to be implemented.
At greenasap we believe that society is becoming greener, receptive to making lifestyle changes and taking a much more considered approach to environmental responsibilit. Small day to day changes can have a big impact on the future of the environment.
By offering advice on day to day lifestyle changes and access to green products we hope to facilitate the change and be a catalyst for moving towards a more sustainable society.
